On Linux machines you may encounter errors like :
kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 18061 (oracle).
kernel: oracle: page allocation failure. order:0, mode:0xd0
The problem is that there is no more memory available on server ( you could also see the pmon or smon killed ).
Solutions:
- increase memory on the server
- decrease sga ( or pga )
