Note: When draining, filling or checking the oil level, always shift the gear lever to the Park position.

 

Note: The oil level must be checked at a temperature between 50ºC and 80ºC.

DRAINING

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.

IMPORTANT To prevent the vehicle from falling, lash it to the vehicle lift using a strap.

• Remove the engine undertray.

• Remove:
  • the drain plug (1) ,
  • the O-ring from the drain plug.
• Drain the automatic gearbox.
• Refit:
  • the new O-ring on the drain plug,
  • the drain plug.
• Torque tighten the drain plug (34 N.m).

FILLING

• Remove the air inlet sleeve.

• Remove the oil level gauge (2) from the automatic variable gearbox.
• Top up the automatic gearbox oil to the specified level using the oil charging pipe (3) .
• Check the oil level using the automatic gearbox oil level gauge (2) after heating the automatic gearbox oil to a temperature between 50ºC and 80ºC.
• Refit:
  • the oil level gauge,
  • the engine undertray.
• Connect the Diagnostic tool. For programming procedures (see Fault finding - Replacement of components.

CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL

• Wait until the temperature of the automatic gearbox oil is between 50ºC and 80ºC.
• Put the gear lever in the Park position.
• Run the engine at idle speed.
• Firmly apply the parking brake.
• Move the gear lever to the D position.
• Remove the oil level dipstick.
• Clean the oil level dipstick.

• Refit the dipstick, rotated 180º from its initial position.

• Check the automatic gearbox oil level on the dipstick.

4. Control nivel de ulei
Conditii prealabile :
- Vehicul in pozitie orizontala
- Controlati absenta modului degradat a cutiei de viteze
- Demontati dopul de umplere (3)
- Adaugati 0,5 litru de ulei suplimentar in cutia de viteze
- Apasati pedala de frana, selectati toate vitezele
- Maneta de viteze in pozitia "P"
- Motorul functionand la ralanti
- Temperatura uleiului 60°C (+ 8 ; - 2 °C) (masurarea parametrilor cu un instrument de diagnosticare)
Demontati dopul de aducere la nivel (2).

4.1. Scurgere in jet continuu, apoi "picatura cu picatura"
Remontati dopul de aducere la nivel (2).

4.2. Scurgere "picatura cu picatura" sau deloc
- Remontati dopul de aducere la nivel (2).
- Opriti motorul.
- Adaugati 0,5 litru de ulei suplimentar in cutia de viteze.
- Reluati procedura de aducere la nivel.

OBSERVATII : Nivelul este corect daca scurgerea de ulei devine "picatura cu picatura".
Remontati dopul de aducere la nivel (2) (prevazut cu o garnitura noua).

4.3. Control nivel de ulei (continuare)
Remontati :
- Busonul de umplere (3) (prevazut cu o garnitura noua)
- Carcasa filtrului de aer
- Protectia de sub motor

Un nivel de ulei prea mare poate duce la urmatoarele consecinte :
- Incalzire anormala a uleiului
- Scapari de ulei
Un nivel de ulei prea mic duce la distrugerea cutiei de viteze.


Nivel ulei Conditii prealabile :
Vehicul in pozitie orizontala , Frana de mana eliberata
Controlati absenta modului degradat a cutiei de viteze (cu ajutorul unui instrument de diagnosticare)
Temperatura uleiului trebuie sa fie de 60 (+8, -2)°C (cu ajutorul unui instrument de diagnosticare)
Apasati pedala de frana , Cuplati toate vitezele
Aduceti maneta de viteze in pozitia P
Motorul pornit, functionand la ralanti, fara consumatori (racire, incalzire,...)

Demontati dopul de nivel de ulei.
- Lasati uleiul sa se scurga prin orificiul de nivel de ulei, pana la faza de picatura cu picatura.
- Remontati dopul de nivel de ulei (nivelul de ulei este corect).
- Fara scurgere de ulei prin orificiul de nivel de ulei (vezi operatii : golire - umplere - nivel ulei cutie de viteze).
