ORA-20110: Unexpected error executing MGMT_SET_JOB_Q_PROC

Symptoms

When applying post install script for the PSU Patch 12423703, getting the following error:

Cause

Verified "opatch lsinventory" output from 11g OMS ORACLE_HOME which shows the Patch 12620174 is applied:

abcd:/oraem/11.1/oms11g/bin$opatch lsinventory |grep 12620174
Patch  12620174     : applied on Fri Sep 16 12:28:21 EST 2011
    12620174

If the Patch 12620174 is not applied, first apply this pre-requisite patch.
If the patch is already applied, then verify the repository database for the   object "MGMT_SET_JOB_Q_PROC". If this is not found, it indicates that the post install script from Patch 12620174 is not executed.

Solution

Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue:

Apply the Patch 12620174 if it is not applied.
If the patch is already applied and missed to execute the post install script, then follow the steps:

1. Run the post install script from the Patch 12620174

2. Ensure that the "MGMT_SET_JOB_Q_PROC" object is created in the repository database

3. Now execute the post install script from Patch 12423703
