Changes

The report server has been installed and up and running for a while, but all of a sudden stopped working.

Cause

An unknown corruption exists in the report server's dat file

Tests showed that a standalone adhoc testing report server starts and stays up.

Solution

1. Back up the corrupted dat file (especially if scheduled jobs are recorded)
(Support may be able to help recover scheduled jobs)

2. Delete the .dat file for the failing reports server.

3. Restart the middletier and verify that the report server is functioning properly.
