ORA-7445 CORE Dump [MsgCheckLEBOM()+20] [unknown signal] [unknown code] [0x000000000] []
during RMAN backup using HP Data Protector

Cause

This has been confirmed by HP Support to be an issue with HP Data Protector.
HP support should be contacted for details.

Errors in the media management software is handled by the respective vendor's support.

Solution

Contact HP Support to confirm that you have hit a problem with HP Data Protector,
and ask if adding the following parameters to .omnirc  is the correct solution.

OB2LINGER=5
